Registration is now open for the Slag Cement Association’s (SCA) fifth annual Slag Cement School. This year’s event will be held in Wilmington, Del., April 21-22.
“We are excited to bring Slag Cement School to the Mid-Atlantic region,” said Nick Brimley, membership and marketing director, SCA. “With the shift toward the use of blended cements and the push for more sustainable construction, this event is a great opportunity for the industry to learn about the latest slag cement applications.”
The school features educational presentations on slag cement use and benefits, as well as a tour of a Heidelberg Materials’ slag cement plant.
Slag Cement School sessions and presenter(s):
- Slag Cement Basics, Production, and Cementitious Properties, Jason Murtha, Heidelberg Materials.
